Mark H. Willes – Chairman of the Board
Mr. Willes was Assistant Professor of Finance and Visiting Lecturer at the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce of the University of Pennsylvania from 1967 to 1971. In 1971, Mr. Willes joined the Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank, where he held a number of positions, including director of research and first vice president. He was president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis from 1977 to 1980. He joined General Mills, Inc. in 1980 as executive vice president and chief financial officer, was elected president, chief operating officer, and a director of General Mills in 1985, and was elected vice chairman of the board in 1992. In 1995, Mr. Willes was elected a director, president, and chief executive officer of The Times Mirror Company, a national news and information company, and, in 1996, was elected to the additional post of chairman of the board. He also was publisher of The Los Angeles Times from 1997 to 1999.

Greg L. Jackson – Board Member
Greg L. Jackson joined Blum Capital in 2003 as a Partner and is co-head of the investment committee. He currently serves as a director on the board of directors for AxisPointe, Inc. and Veracity Payment Solutions, both portfolio companies. In addition to his responsibilities for sourcing new investment opportunities and co-managing the investment portfolios, Mr. Jackson also oversees the investment research process with John Park. Prior to joining Blum Capital, Mr. Jackson spent 6 years at Harris Associates LP where he was the Co-Portfolio Manager of the Oakmark Global Fund (which received a Morningstar 5 star rating during his tenure) from its inception in August of 1999 through October of 2003. In addition, Mr. Jackson was a Partner at Harris Associates LP and an Investment Analyst of domestic equities. Prior to joining Harris Associates LP, Mr. Jackson was a Partner, Portfolio Manager and Investment Analyst with Yacktman Asset Management. In prior years, Mr. Jackson served as a regional manager for Roberts-Slade Inc. and a corporate consultant for Baxter International Inc. Mr. Jackson received his BS from the University of Utah and his MBA from the University of Chicago.

Greg Butterfield – Board Member
Greg Butterfield is Founder and Managing Partner of SageCreek Partners LLC. Before founding SageCreek Greg was the Group President, for Symantec’s ABU, Server and Storage business units ($4 B business P&L). Butterfield joined Symantec through the company’s acquisition of Altiris in April 2007. At Altiris, he most recently served as chairman of the board, president and CEO. Butterfield has more than 23 years of executive-level experience in the software industry. After joining Altiris in February 2000, he guided the company to eight consecutive years of revenue growth and profitability. In Butterfield’s first year with Altiris, annual revenues were $3 million; in 2007, annual revenues exceeded $300 million. Butterfield was the driving force behind eleven acquisitions and he successfully completed an IPO in 2002 in the face of a notable economic downturn. He was also the winner of the 2002 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award and served as the chairman of the board of the Utah Information Technology Association from 2003 to 2005. Butterfield received a bachelors of science in business administration, finance from Brigham Young University.

Buzz Waterhouse – Board Member
Buzz was most recently CEO of Harcourt Education, a $1.7 billion provider of instructional materials, e-learning and testing services for the global K-12 education market. Under Buzz’s leadership, the company underwent a major re-engineering effort, and began an aggressive build-up of ‘connected learning” capabilities. Buzz led a successful effort to sell the company, cumulating in a $5 billion transaction with Pearson and EMP in December, 2007. Prior to Harcourt, Buzz was CEO of The Reynolds and Reynolds Company. At Reynolds, Buzz implemented a focused strategy, transforming the 137-year old company into the leading provider of technology-based solutions for the automotive retailing industry. He led the divestiture of the non-strategic printing business, establishing a strong cash position for strategic acquisitions and R&D. Before joining Reynolds, Mr. Waterhouse spent 26 years at IBM Corporation where he held various sales, marketing, finance, technology and general management roles. An early participant in the formation of the internet, Buzz led IBM’s e-business organization, which included e-commerce, Web hosting, and e-Learning. Buzz was the primary architect of IBM Global Services, which now represents one-half of the company’s revenue and over 200,000 professionals. He was president of Asia Pacific Services Corporation, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, for three years.
Buzz earned a B.S. in Finance at Pennsylvania State University, an M.B.A from Youngstown State University, and has done post-graduate work at Wayne State and the University of Michigan. He resides in Park City, Utah, with his wife Lorraine. They have two children, Brian, a highly engaging graduate of the University of Utah, and Lynn, a graduate student at the University of William & Mary’s Virginia Institute of Marine Sciences.

Juan Carlos Torres – Board Member
Juan Carlos Torres, Vice President, joined Blum Capital in 2005 as a member of the investment team. In addition to his responsibilities of sourcing and executing investment opportunities, Mr. Torres currently serves on the board of directors of AxisPointe, Inc., a portfolio company. Prior to joining Blum Capital, Mr. Torres was the President and Portfolio Manager of Triton Global Capital, LLC, a private investment firm focused on long/short equity investments. Prior to founding Triton Global in 1999, Mr. Torres worked at SAFECO Asset Management. Mr. Torres earned a BA in Business Administration and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Washington and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Richard J. Romanski – Board Member
Richard Romanski, a California Attorney, is a founding investor in AxisPointe.  For more than 35 years, Mr. Romanski has represented numerous law enforcement associations and regularly lectures on law enforcement labor issues.  He has served as legal counsel to large employee benefit plans and as trustee of several such plans.  Mr. Romanski is Chairman of the Board of PICKPOINT Corporation, a telepharmacy company.  A former FBI Agent, Mr. Romanski teaches law enforcement labor relations to employee and management groups.  He has taught at the FBI Academy. He is a graduate of Fairfield University, earning a Bachelor of Social Science degree in History, and of the University of Virginia where he earned a Juris Doctor. He is also a graduate of the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California where he studied Arabic

Doug Christensen – Board Member
Doug Christensen has extensive senior management experience in facilities management and is the visionary behind AxisFM Facility Asset Management Solution. He developed and implemented the Capital Needs Analysis (CNA) System over 25 years ago at Brigham Young University and is a former International President of the Association of Physical Plant Administrators. He has a B.S. in accounting and an M.S. in information and technology, both from BYU.  He has been published in numerous trade magazines and keynote speaker at hundreds of facility management events. He is currently over the Office of Administrative Solutions for Physical Facilities at BYU with 35 years experience.
